How We Create Our Content
Rigorous research, transparent sourcing, and regulatory compliance behind every piece we publish.
Who Writes Our Content
All content published under the Ferrante Capital name is authored by Andrew J. Lazzeroni, Co-Founder and CEO of Ferrante Capital LLC. Drew holds direct responsibility for the accuracy, tone, and quality of every article and market commentary we publish. As a registered investment adviser representative, he brings firsthand experience managing client portfolios and building quantitative strategies to every piece of content.
Our Editorial Process
Every article goes through a structured, multi-stage editorial pipeline before publication. This is not a formality. Each stage exists to catch errors, strengthen arguments, and ensure what we publish meets the standard our clients and readers deserve.
Research
Topics begin with primary-source research: economic data releases, Federal Reserve publications, SEC filings, earnings reports, and academic papers. We do not repurpose press releases or summarize other blogs. Every article starts from source material.
Write
Drafts are written with a clear thesis, supporting evidence, and practical takeaways. We write for real people making real financial decisions, not for search engines or social media engagement.
Edit
Every draft is reviewed for clarity, logical flow, factual consistency, and readability. We cut jargon where plain language works. We verify that every claim in the article is supported by the cited evidence.
Fact-Check
Every verifiable claim is cross-referenced against its primary source. Statistics are checked for accuracy and currency. Dates, figures, and attributions are verified independently. If a claim cannot be sourced, it is removed.
Compliance Review
As a registered investment adviser, our content must meet regulatory standards. Every article is screened for promissory language, misleading claims, undisclosed conflicts, and anything that could be construed as personalized investment advice. Nothing publishes without compliance clearance.
Source Standards
We hold ourselves to a strict sourcing hierarchy. Primary sources come first: government data (BLS, BEA, Census Bureau), Federal Reserve publications (FRED, FOMC minutes), SEC filings, and peer-reviewed academic research. When we reference market data, it comes from Tier 1 providers. We cite our sources so readers can verify any claim we make.
We do not cite anonymous sources, rely on social media posts as evidence, or present opinion as fact. When we express a view, we label it clearly as our perspective and explain the reasoning behind it.
AI-Assisted Research and Drafting
Our editorial team uses AI tools to assist with research, data analysis, and initial drafting. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked, edited for voice and accuracy, and approved by our team before publication. AI assists the process; it does not replace human judgment, expertise, or editorial oversight.
Our multi-stage pipeline includes structural editing, line editing, automated and manual fact-checking, compliance review, and final approval by Drew Lazzeroni before anything goes live. The quality of what we publish is determined by the rigor of this process, not the tools used at any single stage.
Corrections Policy
If we discover an error in published content, we correct it promptly and note the correction at the top of the article with the date of the update. Transparency matters more than the appearance of perfection.
